Refund & Cancellation Policy
Apart from the one-time ₹2,000 onboarding fee, CryptX takes no money up front, so most of this page is about cancelling rather than refunding. It also says plainly what we will not refund — including trading losses and correctly-billed fees — and how to dispute an invoice you think is wrong.
1The short version
2What you pay, and when
Beyond the onboarding fee, CryptX does not ask for money before it has made you any. There is no subscription and no fee on assets. There are two charges and no others: a one-time ₹2,000 onboarding fee, paid up front before the algo places its first trade, and after that a performance fee — a share of the profit realised on your own account — invoiced only after a 30-day period has closed with profit in it. Your first 7 days are a free trial with no performance fee, so the earliest a performance invoice can exist is day 30, the close of the first period.
Beyond the onboarding fee, there is in the ordinary case no payment sitting with us that could be returned. What there is, instead, is a clear way to stop, and a clear way to challenge an invoice.
3Cancelling, and what happens next
You can stop at any time, with no notice period and no exit fee. Any one of these ends the relationship:
- pause the engine in the portal — open positions stay managed, no new entries are taken;
- disconnect the API key in the portal;
- delete or disable the key inside your Delta account — execution stops immediately;
- email support@cryptxindia.com and ask us to stop.
Cancelling stops all future billing. It does not cancel an invoice already raised on profit you have already made — see section 5.
4Cancelling during your free trial
The ₹2,000 onboarding fee is paid up front, before the system places its first trade, and your first 7 days are a free trial. Cancel at any point in those 7 days and no performance fee is ever invoiced: profit made in the trial carries no performance fee. Disconnecting stops new entries at once; anything already open is still closed by us.
5An invoice already raised
A performance-fee invoice is raised when a billing window closes with realised profit in it. By that point the profit is already in your Delta account — it is money you have, not money you are hoping for. That invoice remains payable even if you cancel the next day.
An unpaid fee invoice pauses new entries on your account after a 7-day grace period. Positions already open keep being managed and closed. Paying the invoice resumes trading.
6When we do return money
We refund in full, without argument, where the charge was ours to get wrong:
- A duplicate payment — the same invoice paid twice.
- An invoice raised in error — a window billed twice, a window billed after you had already disconnected, or a fee computed on trades that were not yours.
- A calculation error. If the fee does not match your execution ledger and your Delta account statement, we correct it and return the difference. Delta’s record governs.
- A payment taken for a service that never ran — for example a fee charged for a window in which the engine placed no orders on your account.
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay. We do not pay refunds in cash, to a different person, or to a different instrument. TO CONFIRM: the refund processing time to publish (working days from approval to credit), and whether the Razorpay gateway fee is absorbed by WealthX or deducted
7What is not refundable
We would rather be blunt here than have you discover it later.
- Trading losses. The market outcome is yours. It happened in your own account, under a strategy whose risks are set out in section 10 of the Terms. We do not reimburse it, in whole or in part.
- Exchange commissions, funding and slippage. Those are charged by Delta, not by us. We never receive them and cannot return them.
- A correctly-billed performance fee. A fee on profit you actually realised is not refunded because a later window lost money. The high-water mark already handles that: the deficit carries forward and must be earned back before any new fee applies.
- Any loss caused by an exchange outage, a liquidation, a rejected order or a gap through a stop.
8What the fee is measured on
The fee base is your net realised profit: the profit on the Service’s round-trips — entry fill minus exit fill — minus the commission (including GST) and any liquidation fee Delta charged on those orders in the period. You are not charged a performance fee on money that went to the exchange.
Delta’s charges are still paid to Delta, not to us, and we cannot refund them (section 7 above) — but they are deducted before our share is worked out. Your billing page shows, for every period, the realised profit, the Delta charges deducted and the net figure the fee was calculated on. The full rule, with a worked example, is in section 7 of the Terms.
If those figures do not match your own Delta records, dispute the invoice — the next section explains how.
9Disputing an invoice
Write to support@cryptxindia.com from your registered email with the invoice number and what you think is wrong. Do this before paying if you can; an invoice under genuine dispute will not be treated as overdue while we look at it.
- We reconcile the invoice line by line against the execution ledger — every order, fill price and timestamp on your account.
- If the ledger and your Delta account statement disagree, Delta’s record governs and we correct ours.
- If we were wrong, we cancel or reissue the invoice, and refund anything already collected.
- If we were right, we will show you the arithmetic that produced the figure.
TO CONFIRM: the acknowledgement and resolution timelines to publish for a billing dispute
10A payment that debited but did not clear
Payments are collected by Razorpay and we mark an invoice paid only after verifying the payment signature. If money has left your account but the invoice still shows as open, that is a settlement mismatch, not a second charge — send us the Razorpay payment reference and we will reconcile it. Where the payment genuinely did not reach us, Razorpay returns it to your instrument on their own timeline.
11Chargebacks
Please raise a dispute with us before your bank. A chargeback on a performance-fee invoice freezes the account while it is investigated, and we will provide the execution ledger and the fee calculation as evidence. TO CONFIRM: how chargebacks and their gateway fees should be handled contractually
12Escalation and contact
If the answer you get does not resolve it, escalate. TO CONFIRM: the escalation route and Grievance Officer for billing complaints, and whether support@cryptxindia.com is the published escalation address
